July 27, 2009 So far, inkjet printing on credit cards instead of embossing was not allowed. Now, VISA and AMEX certified this method for personalizing bank cards. Compared to the embossing process, inkjet printing is much more comfortable and efficient and thus, leads to a much higher productivity and a better cost per card ratio.
